| Presentation of Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) certificates in Mayo County Council, June 18, 2004: |
|
Since September, 2003, the IT Unit of the IPA has run two very successful MSCA programmes for IS staff in Mayo County Council. All courses and exams were held in the Council premises, using Microsoft Certified Trainers from the IPA. In all, 15 Council staff sucessfully completed the programme, with a 100% success rate in the exams achieved. "The flexibility of being able to hold the training and doing the
exams on site in the Council offices was of huge benifit to both the staff
involved and Mayo County Council. This internationally recognized qualification
gives my staff the skills and confidence to enable us meet the challenges
of providing the information and e-government services expected by the
citizens of County Mayo in the 21st Century", said Pat Carroll, Head
of Information Systems in Mayo County Council. |
